One of the Jamestown Sound's teachers, Lisa-Marie Rens organised and hosted a "Jazz morning" at the Music Conserve in Stellenbosch. Music learners from Cloetesville and Weber Gedenk Primary schools took part in the workshop. Learners got the opportunity to listen to and receive live demonstrations of Jazz instruments by music students of the conserve, after which they all took part in performing Jazz on their instruments... here's what the day looked like.

Conserve Eisteddfod

Learners of Jamestown sounds from Cloetesville and Webergedenk primary schools participated in the annual Conserve Eisteddfod hosted by the 4th year music education students of the Stellenbosch of University. These learners performed on their various instruments in their respective age categories. Each learner did very well and received high marks for their performance. We are very proud of our learners.
